Book web

October 26, 2007

I don’t have a lot of time to write about this, but there is a site out there that creates visualizations for you based on data you give the site. The other day in the DC I was talking about wanting to get some kind of graphic representation of the books I read and the relationships between them–how reading one book oftentimes leads you to read another book, or you may jump back to an author you read many years ago. What would a visualization of this look like? A tree, a web, a fractal? Here, someone has done it. From many-eyes.com. Thanks so much to Lynn for finding this!

I actually got it from Superpatron, Ed Vielmetti in Ann Arbor, who posted it on his blog. Credit where credit is due and all that.
