Downloading MP3s onto our players

March 4, 2008
I have written a basic document that explains how to download MP3 files onto our players. The link is at the bottom of this post.
This information tells you how to get MP3s onto the device once you find them–not how to find downloadable music or podcasts. It also tells you how to copy music from a CD onto your device.
Finding downloadable music and podcasts is half the fun–try searching “free music mp3” or “libraries podcasting” in Google and see what you find. Look for sites that have a “download free MP3” button or something similar. Try CNet’s Free MP3 of the Day or LibrarySuccess.org’s list of libraries that podcast.
Our Overdrive downloadable audiobooks will require a different interface and training is coming for using those.
Have fun and call or e-mail the helpdesk  if you have questions.
